Rock Candy  from  tat2U 's   Matte Lipstick collection  has absolutely no slip. This lipstick is best applied with a brush as it is so extremely dry, you run the risk of breaking the lipstick during it's application. It is completely unforgiving to dry lips kin so make sure you exfoliate your lips first. This collection of cosmetics is designed to not budge and it lives up to its name. I've experienced very minimal transfer of  Rock Candy  to my cup. I must note, there's a noticeable odor that I am finding a bit distracting. It would prevent me from wearing or buying this formula again.

From the very first swipe, I know it had to be mine. Described as sangria , Palais Royal by +NARS Cosmetics is the prefect glass of red wine. Purchased from +Nordstrom , it features a creamy, saturated satin finish. And I mean creamy. It is wonderfully lightweight but oh so creamy. This Lip Pencil is destined to be my Fall go-to lip shade, it is so flattering without competing for attention against my hair. Easy to apply and simple to sharpen, Palais Royal , named after a palace located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, will work beautifully on all skin tones. xoxo •Nancy-Lee No filter. Anthurium   Maleficent   lip gloss The first thing I'll tell you is, start with a lip liner. This formula is unforgiving to any type of lip wrinkle; whether brought on by age, sun damage, or even cigarette smoking.  +MAC Cosmetics   Lipglass skips over wrinkles making them very pronounced, especially when using something as dark and shiny as  Anthurium   Maleficent   lip gloss .

When I was growing up, Avon was a big deal. Just about everyone I knew used Avon , selling Avon was very respectable and for the most part you loved when your local rep left a new catalogue, especially if a sample was included! Like most door to door sales, it seemed the older I got the less I saw Avon.

It is really the only makeup item that I am crazy about.   What intrigued me the most about B ITE Beauty : This lip color delivers super antioxidant resveratrol, which fights free radicals with potent long-term antiaging benefits. Each lipstick contains the amount of resveratrol found in five glasses of red wine. Many moons ago I had a lipstick by Versace in the most amazing sh ade of plum . Unfortunately the cosmetic line was discontinued shortly after Gianni Versace death and I have been on the hunt for a dupe ever since. Me et Barolo , my new perfect shade of plum.

I had no idea how coveted this lipstick was until I posted a swatch on Beautylish. Rouge Volupté #4 is known as Honey and is the ultimate nude lipstick. Super creamy , very pigmented and very glo ssy , t he Rouge Volupté collection is create d with Mango oil which giv es the li psticks a sweet scent and slick feel. The colour payoff is incredible. It only takes one swipe per lip for awesome coverage and *truth be told* this is my go-to base shade for my lip glosses. Especially YSL Golden Gloss in #2 . The shade is too much like my skin tone and I look unbelieveabl y washed out when I wear this alon e , so I don't. This lipstic k is very moisturizing and very lightweight. T he creamy finish is more oily th an buttery feeling, to me. And I find it does not last as long as it claims but it does not feather off of my lips nor does it oxidize to a different s hade: it is tube true throughout it's entire w ear. I can honestly say that my lips feel softer after w earing ...

Perfe ctly described as a red coral with a slight shimmer, Folk is a moisturizin g formula from Makeup For Ever's Rouge Artist Natural collection . It is also my first Makeup For Ever lipstick purchase. This lightweight lipstick has a very comfortable application, it glides on smoothly and finishes creamy . Folk stayed colour true and did not flake or feather off of my mouth yet it did not wear as long as some of my other lipsticks , I needed to reapply Folk earlier and more often. Plus, I noticed that it develops this 'powdery' feeling once it starts to wear o ff . Not that there is anything wrong with that, just a different feeling It features modera te coverage and the shimmer is just a touch of something special, it does not look like glitter nor is it a frosty finish , just a simple dimensional shine.  

  This is creamy luxe. A buttery feeling that makes me want to rub my lips together, as if I am rubbing a moisturizer deep into my skin. I purchased Nia gara by NARS last year, about this same time and this is the first time that it has been used. Spring always make me think of pinks and oranges and with the announcement yesterday that Punxsutawney Phil is welcoming Spring early, I thought I would offer some Spring time inspiration! I'm pretty sure that this is the first NARS lipstick that I have purchased. And what a way to start! The shade looks to be more matte in the tube but has a nice shine once on my lips. It glides on smoothly and comfortably. There is no odor or taste and Niagara stays colour-true through its wear. It did not feather or drift off of my lips and suffered minimal transfer - I had to reapply no more or less than other lipsticks.

Not only is this my second #28Kisses post,    today is my birthday ! WOOT!! I was excited to make Cupcake my first Too Faced lipstick purchase. Drenched in shea butter, rich color, and diamond shine, our exclusive formula smoothes out fine lines and creases while it pampers your lips with a flavorful moisture surge of pure champagne essences. This shade is a pale bubblegum pink with s ilve r shimmer . Once on, i t is very creamy and su per comfortable feeling but I notice when I first apply Cupcake it has a gritty texture in the tube but that feeling does not transfer to my lips Nor do I find it unco mfortable - it is not like I am being scratched, it is simply so mething I noti ce. I'm thinking it is the shea butter.

It's rare that you love a vessel in a way that it completes the experience and needs to be mentioned. This is a lipstick that I would expect to find on my Grandmother's vanity. Not that it is 'old la dy' but the design is era appropriate. I f I were to see this as a little girl, my shy inquisitive self would 'borrow' it, put it on, try to remove the evidence, replace the tube and deny the incident. And treasure every minute of it. Unable to locate my lip brush, I take full advantage of the sharp angle that the tip of this lipstick provides. I start by lining the top of my bow, then the bott om of my bow, then I fi ll in my lips. I learn the hard way that you should not roll your lips with this product in order to distribute it 's cover a ge. Appl y. Blot. Wait 2 minutes and apply a second coat. The colour is rich, ...

I really enjoyed this collection. FlipStick is not one of the lipsticks I would have gone out of my way to purchase and a big part of that is the lacking of staying powder and the fact most shades do not stay tube true: they usually turn bubblegum pink. While I did fall victim to this unfortunate happening during this buzz it was not from the one I thought: It was from the orange hued Stunner. The lighter shades were too frosty to wear on their own yet the darker shades are amazing , I would purchase more of those! These are highly pigmented and very frosty and very metallic - not a look everyone can pull off. This is the best Covergirl lip product that I have used. They were moisturizing, non-drying and long lasting. I would recommend these duos.

I wanted these so badly, I didn't realize the duet was perfectly purse-sized ;   I thought they were full size. I have so many lipsticks, this is actually better!

This is Lipsi Cosmetics best selling lipstick. It is a complex blend of rose pink, light brown and mauve which matches and enhances the natural lip color of every woman. I am pretty much a sucker for anything labeled Best Seller and I since love their Aphrodite Powder , I felt confident to purchase this sight unseen. Then I was reminded that one of my coworkers owns this lipstick so I was able to swatch it and instantly fell in love. I was waiting for the right time to pouce - Black Ops was that time! While this lipstick was not promotionally priced, I bought it when I had earned free shipping and was able to use a Beauty Badge deepening my savings 15%.

I think those of us who love coconut know, it can go so wrong so fast. Completely skeptical I was assured by a colleague that this is the most amazing lip balm and it will smell completely 'real'. My October BeautyARMY Selection Window opens, I am offered Coconut and I select it. I LOVE coconut. I find it tropical and sexy. Super hydrating without feeling greasy, this clear formula glides on smoothly without leaving behind a waxy feeling and it does not bleed off of my lips. I like to use it under my dryer lipsticks, it helps those products glide on which makes them easier to wear and more forgiving to any dry lip skin. I liked this by its self so much, I ordered a Variety Pack on Black Friday. I couldn't resist! They were on sale 3 for $5.99! This full size lip balm has a value of $3.32. A few days ago I reviewed Coral Poppy, a spirited reddish orange, a perfect compliment to the colour of the year. I have since ha d the opportunity to review 2 more shades of Sk i nn Cosmetic's Twin Set: Pink Tulip and Summer Rose. Just like the Coral Poppy, I found t hese full size lipsticks to be just as creamy and rich with quite an opaque velvet finish. The other end of the perfectly palm-sized container reveals a beautiful gloss that I swatched alone and over the included lipstick giving me a shiny pout. It is packed with Vitamin E, Soy and Aloe to soothe even the driest of lips.

This is the first product that I have purchased from Illamasqua, a UK based cosmetic company offering 'makeup for your alter-ego'. Created in 2008 and designed with nighttime in mind, Illamasqua provides a vast colour range without sacrificing professional quality. Described as a pink berry red with a matte finish, Drech will undoubtedly make a statement. Opaque and highly pigmented, I find the formula to be incredibility creamy and surprisingly smoot h. It stays put without deep staining, eliminating the need for multiple applications.   P urchased from Sephora for $22, a median price point for designer makeup, Illamasqua provides products that are free from animal testing, which is important to me. Drench is  a shade I will rock during the day as well as night and I rate this lipstick 4.5 out of 5 stars. I love the coverage, the application is smooth and non-drying. I wasn't out to purchase this lipstick, I needed to spend $150 to meet Tim Gunn and the necklace that I selected was only $128.  I feel like this lippy found me. Named Fuchsia Fete, the unscented formula is housed in a goldtone vessel which locks closed.  Simply press the base of the lippy till it makes a light clicking noise and releases the tube.  A gentle pull reveals Pucker Up! on the casing and a lovely shade of pink.   With moderate coverage, this shade of pink would work well on multiple skin tones and is perfect for Spring and Summer!
