A Simple Stila EOTD

A colourful eye doesn't have to be too bold or too intimidating. I start with Onyx on my upper and lower waterlines . Jaded Jack lines both my upper and lower lashline in a thicker-than-usual stroke so Cobalt doesn't completely cover the vivid green. I was able to achieve a gentle wingtip and once Cobalt dried, I retraced Jaded Jack, almost enveloping Cobalt. Kitten was added from my crease up to the brow bone where I used Barefoot Contessa to provide a soft filled eyebrow. I pulled it all together with 2 coats of mascara and was on my way! Shopping List: •Stila, Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner, Cobalt, $20. •Stila, Kajal Eye Liner, Onyx, $18 •Stila, Eyeshadow, Kitten, $18 •Stila, Eyeshadow, Barefoot Contessa. * discontinued * •Butter London WINK Eye Pencil in Jaded Jack, $18 •Physicians Formula Organic Wear mascara, Black, $10 xoxo •Nancy-Lee

Celebrating the Festival of Colour with a Stila Cosmetics haul

I am the first to admit, I am not a huge makeup girl. I don't usually go gaga over cosmetics but I have really been into brights lately. I can't seem to get enough pinks, purples, oranges, blues and greens so when I received an email from Stila announcing a few new products, I found myself instantly smitten.

Stila Cosmetics: an iMATS Haul

These were a great deal, regularly $22 a piece, I scored these waterproof liners for $12.50 each while attending iMATS Los Angeles.  I can't wait to break these open and enjoy the bright, slightly shimmery stay the day shades. How about you, Gorgeous? Have you tried these Stila liners? Which shades? xoxo •Nancy-Lee

Disco Ball polish by Stila Cosmetics

Three coats. The first thing I thought of when I saw this in person was 'denim dream' because the shade and shimmer reminds me of my favourite pair of jeans.  Not that my favourite jeans are clear with blue, purple and teal glitter, mind you.  I was hoping Disco Ball would be opaque, as the shade is amazing and makes my heart sing.  I admit, I did not pay attention to the trace on the bottle so it turned out to be surprisingly sheer. No worries, I applied 1 coat of butterLONDON Nail Foundation followed by 3 coats of Disco Ball, with a minute between each coat.  Once it was time for the top coat, I applied 1 coat of Hardwear by butterLONDON, waited 2 minutes and applied a second coat.  First along the edge of all 5 nails then over the entire nail, which smooths out the polish that is now built up on the tip.  I seal the edge since highly glittered polishes feel rough; this sealing also prevents premature chipping.

Stila Cosmetics Nail Polish Haul

I was super excited to get these sets on sale, as I greedily purchased both! But $3.50 per bottle of polish? I simply couldn't resist! Did you treat yourself? Which one?  Or both! xoxo Thank you for watching! Don't forget to follow and comment! xoxo •Nancy-Lee
