A Sephora 40th Birthday Party Haul

I took a look at my collection of eyeliners and was completely uninspired. I had 4 black pencils, 2 brown pencils, 1 brownish-green and 1 silver retractable, and a  liquid liner in  purple. The only thing worth mentioning was my  +Lime Crime  liner in Milk. It's so awesome, I wear it alone. Click image to enlarge for detail.

Weleda 6 piece Body Oil Starter Set.

I was browsing a different  +Target  in town  looking through their selection of Pacifica when a rainbow caught my eye. That rainbow turned out to be the Body Oil Starter Set  by  + Weleda . For $14.99 I have the opportunity to try the complete body oil collection through these  .34 ounces  deluxe samples sized glass vials. Formulated with a variety of different oils and essential blends, these six products are quite different from one another, not only in scent but in weight and viscosity .

Brook's Birthday ; A Pacifica Beauty Haul.

Click image to enlarge for detail. Did you celebrate Brook's birthday and save 20% off your  +Pacifica Perfume  purchase? Clearly, I couldn't resist. I was in the market for blue mascara so I selected  Aquarian Gaze  in Deep and I wanted a golden shimmer powder, leading  Golden Lotus  to find it's way into my cart, too. Made with coconut water, it will brighten and illuminate my face this winter.  However, I wasn't in the market for more lacquer but I added  Unicorn Horn nail polish  -  plus perfume for a friend - to score free shipping.

My First Blog Sale Haul : Dior + Lipstick Queen.

This was my first blog sale haul. It was completely unintentional. I was looking for blog sales to post on my other blog, Beauty Blogger Sales , and I came across Jules Darling . A sweet beauty blog with amazing reviews and an even more amazing blog sale! I couldn't believe the deals I scored on these 2 products.

Santana Row, where Fashion Rocks

Click to enlarge for detail. I was the lucky +1 to +the Fashion Palate 's VIP invite at Fashion Rocks, hosted by  +Santana Row . We started with a cocktail at Straits and then we were treated to addition cocktails and hor dourves once inside the event space. Fashion and food... Yum! We sat at the end of the runway, giving our Instagram followers a chance to join in on the action. #SorryNotSorry for blowing up your feed!  The show was beautifully presented and the clothing plus accessories were perfectly picked. After the 90 minute catwalk, many of the participating boutiques were offering after parties; Cocktails, cupcakes and discounts. Yours truly, +Franci , and +Hasti. We headed to +TED BAKER first, followed by a mini shopping spree inside 100% Pure and a jaunt to +kate spade new york , where I scored the cutest pair of footie socks. Stay tuned for swatches and reviews... They're coming up later on in the week. And head over to The Fashion Palate to see Fr...

Pharmaca; A 7 item Natural Beauty Haul.

It always starts off so innocently, doesn't it? I ran to GAP to exchange a pair of jeans and as I was walking to my car I spotted Pharmaca . Something told me I would find my favourite natural beauty products and my gut was right. My wallet wishes I was wrong!

A Costco Beauty Haul of YSL, EOS and Honest.

I headed to Costco to see if I could score Jenna Hipp's second set of nail polish... Set 2 was not available but that's ok, I scored some other pretty amazing deals instead! My opinions of The Honest Company seemed simple: They made stuff for babies. Wellll yes but there are adult appropriate things too, like Honest Shampoo & Body Wash in Sweet Vanilla Orange . The scent is very light and natural, for me it is barely detectible. There is no skimping in quality here, the vegan formula is thick and requires no more product than you would normally use. It rinses cleanly and leaves my skin very soft thanks to jojoba and coconut oils. Costco Members can purchase a special 2 pack of 17oz (500mL) bottles - valued at $40 - for only $14.99.

A $99 CVS Haul and $6.47 in profit.

I have been on a roll with my savings at CVS and this trip was no different. Stacking the ExtraBucks and Beauty Rewards I earned last week with Manufacture coupons on top of a $6 off $30 Beauty Purchase eCoupon, I scored $99.06 in product which I paid $15.53 out of pocket and earned $22 in ExtraBucks for my next shopping trip! It feels like I was paid $6.47 to shop! There is a 12 pack of Bounty paper towels and a 16 roll pack of Charmin toilet paper not pictured. How did we do it? Danny purchased Bounty paper towels, Charmin toilet paper & Dawn (these 3 items earned $5EB), Clear shampoo (on clearance for $2.39 - $2 CVS coupon = 39¢), Carefree panty liners and (1) Tom's deodorant (on sale for $3.69 and he earned a $1EB). He paid using $17.77EB, 25¢ MFCoupon, $5 off $25 purchase bringing his out of pocket to $1.31 and he has $6EB for next time.

My Freeman Beauty Mystery Bag

Weighing in at more than 3 pounds, I couldn't wait to rip this box open. I was even more delighted when I discovered that the products were wrapped... it felt like Christmas in October! Meet the Freeman Beauty Mystery Bag! For $20 they sent you a mixture of $90 worth of product! I spent just over $25 so I would automatically qualify for free shipping and added the promo code WELCOME to score a free Pssst! Dry Shampoo, worth $2.99!

Too Faced Teddy Bears and Illamasqua Varnish

You know how it goes. You get a few things for Christmas and even though you like them you had you eye on a few other thing s, so you make an exchange! I already o wn one set of these Too Faced Teddy B ear Hair Shadow Brushes brus he s and since I use them more tha n the other brushes in my collection, I felt it was a smart idea to invest in another set. Not to be lackadaisical about cleaning but to have additional clean brushes as the week goes on. Retailing for $39 for the set of 3, it brings each br ush to $13 which is very reasonable to me. I was looking online for some new nail things, tools mainly and came across this nailpolish set from I llamasqua . F eaturing Viridian , peacock green shimmer and Glitterati , raspberry glitte r. This limited edition set was $25.00. This is my first experience with this Brand's polish line. I have one of their lipsticks in Drench, which I adore. Stay tuned for swatches and reviews !! Thanks for joining me, Gorgeous! What ...

It was one of those... 'I don't need anything but I'm sooo close to another $5ExtraBucks b eauty reward.... so......" purchases. You know what I'm talking about.

Faux Lash : A Cyber Monday Haul

This was an unexpected haul that I made at the last minute and am grateful that I did and wish I purchased more! I had the pleasure of meeting Faux Lash during the Spring when they popped inside Beauty Army Headquarters. After our meeting I started to follow their Facebook page where I saw a post a out a fab C yber Monday sale. And fab it was: 50% off of their lashes! I browsed the pages and made my decision. I was only after traditional las h es and as you can see, I purchased anything but.

Sephora : Black Friday Haul

Hello Black Friday deals! Sepho ra ha d a fun promo with a variety of things priced at $10. 00. I picked up 5 of those deals, e arned free shipping and used a promo code to score a makeup ba g by OPI with 14 samples. I am donating the contents.

Stila Cosmetics: an iMATS Haul

These were a great deal, regularly $22 a piece, I scored these waterproof liners for $12.50 each while attending iMATS Los Angeles.  I can't wait to break these open and enjoy the bright, slightly shimmery stay the day shades. How about you, Gorgeous? Have you tried these Stila liners? Which shades? xoxo •Nancy-Lee

Hautelook: A Customer Service Shoutout

I made a multi-item purchase of Institute Karite on HauteLook and when it arrived I opened the box to discover that one of my items was damaged. The outer shipping box was not damaged but this tin of body exfoliater sure was.  Immediately I called Hautelook's Customer Service line where I spoke with a very sweet lady named Tiffany.  I told her what happened and she promptly apologized and sympathized with me about the damage, explained why they would be unable to replace the defective unit and processed a refund to my card for the cost of the scrub and tax.   Wow.  I was hoping for a replacement and expecting a credit on my account for a future purchase, not a full refund.  The surprise and delight was fabulous.

Shea Terra Organics Whipped Butter Haul

I'm not sure where or how but I stumbled across a post to buy a $40 Shea Terra Organics certificate for $20 on SpaRahRah.  I pounced! Then I held on to it forever. Like 2 whole months. I simply couldn't decide what to buy and I wanted something different than the usual suspects. Click to enlarge.

HauteLook Haul: Institut Karite

Another dreamy Brand that I met through my Beauty Army Kits! Institut Karite is a company known for it's shea butter or karite .  I am so in love with the hand cream that was in my May Beauty Army Kit, when I saw IK pop up on Hautelook one day I POUNCED!  But what else is new, right?   I was super excited as Hautelook is a hit or miss when it comes to a large variety of pr oducts .  Fortunately, this was a total hit.

A 100% Pure•ly Amazing Haul!

I had to run to Santana Row this weekend and just happen to wander into 100% Pure while they were having a buy 3 get 1 free sale!  Starving for some yummy body scrub, I went straight to my bff: Strawberry Lemonade! Do not eat.  Do not eat.   I love this scrub, it smells EXACTLY like the tastiest lemonade that you have every dreamed of tasting.  Next I caught something I have been looking for but wasn't looking for: a flat head brush for my blusher and bronzer.  As soft and pure as cotton, this brush will find it's place happily alongside my brush collection.

My very first ULTA haul!!

That's right, Gorgeous! This was my very FIRST trip to Ulta and I made a mini-haul! I hadn't heard of Ulta until I moved to California and I never ventured inside of one because It hought it was like Sally's not realizing it is more of a mix between CVS and Sephora! Thanks for watching!  Please leave a comment below, it would make my day! xoxo

Shea Terra Organics Haul

I discovered the niche brand Shea Terra Organics through Beauty Army when I received a sample of Rose Hips Black soap in my second Kit.  My next plan of action was to follow them on Facebook and Twitter as well as join their mailing list.  You never know.   I was so glad I opened my email one morning to discover a 30% coupon!!  Holla! "Not only do Shea Terra Organics skin care treatments assist in preservation, they are also the backbone of economic sustainability for many hardworking families across the continent. Since early 2000, Shea Terra Organics has worked closely with cooperatives and conservation groups to introduce Africas time-tested ingredients to the world. " -SheaTerraOrganics.com
