Lips to Tips : A YSL Manicure set

The day before Franci and I were going to attend the Nordstrom Trend Show, their Spring Beauty catalogue arrived at my home. Flipping through the pages I came across a rare YSL Gift with Purchase: Spend $90 on nail or lip products and receive a limited edition mani / pedi set. I found the timing impeccable as I am in the market for new mani tools and was hoping I could find a set I could travel with or at least toss in my bag.

A Spring Shopping Spree at Valley Fair.

Warning: This is picture heavy!
Valley Fair has always been a lovely mall and the longer I live here the more it is becoming an amazingly couture shopping destination. I like to go to the mall to browse around and get out of the house. This day, I had a few gift cards and coupons burning a hole in my pocketbook... Join me as I take you on a little fashion haul, just in time for Juicy Couture's new store opening! They are relocating across the hall and I am attending the New Store Opening tonight - make sure you are following me on Instagram for pictures from the event!

It starts with TheLimited. My rediscovered fascination with TheLimited added 2 bottoms to my closet: A gorgeous, 50's inspired pencil skirt. This sunshine yellow has been kissed with acid but not slobbered on. The shade is more electric then pastel. White polka dots and piping really make this skirt pop and the slit up the back of the leg is not only sexy, it enables more movement. I am 5' 2" so this skirt…

Seeking Platinum Perfection.

When I first came to California I was growing out a bottle-red mess. My dear friend took me to Whole Foods *don't laugh* the second I stepped off the plane and coloured my hair jet black that night. I wore it for a few years and had fun with the exaggerated look against my pale skin but a time came when I grew bored of black.

A Nordstrom exclusive, this set was available for a VERY limited time, containing $168 in product, it sold for less than the cost of 4 full size Paint Pots, only $58.

The Mini Mani Set is gorgeously packaged with:

- 4 mini Caviar blends.
- 3 exclusive Paint Pot glitter shades.

First up: CupcakeQueen, a loveable pink shade with a very subtle blue shimmer.

A faded Citrine dream.

This is one of the hardest reviews for me to write. As you know, I have a deep love for LVX. I am completely addicted to this Brand and own several shades over several seasons. I really wanted to add Citrine to my collection and when I saw the partnership with ASPCA, a 20% donation, I pounced. Unfortunately, Citrine turned out to be a 'miss' for me.
