Kentucky Bourbon Puddings with Candied Pecans

Hi Beauty Army Troops!! Here is another fabulous recipe for you, from Pinterest! Kentucky Bourbon Puddings with Candied Pecans Yield: eight 4 oz. servings

Kate Spade and Tim Gunn haul.

My boyfriend, who is on Juicy Couture's email list, sent me a forward from Stanford Shopping Center: Meet Tim Gunn.  Yes, please.  The fashion show is complimentary but you have to spend $150 at Kate Spade NY, Juicy Couture and/or Lucky Brand to meet Mr. Gunn, so I start saving.  I had several days to make my purchase but you know what they say... if it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done. ha!

Tim Gunn xox : Part Deux

Join me as I present my very first slide show!!  On 5.19.12 I had the pleasure of attending Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto where Tim Gunn hosted a Fashion Show in Center Court.  The clothing and accessories are exclusively Kate Spade NY, Juicy Couture and Lucky Brand with a mixture of local and national models. Turn on your speakers, there's a nice instrumental playing! Did you have a favourite piece? xoxo •Nancy-Lee

Disco Ball polish by Stila Cosmetics

Three coats. The first thing I thought of when I saw this in person was 'denim dream' because the shade and shimmer reminds me of my favourite pair of jeans.  Not that my favourite jeans are clear with blue, purple and teal glitter, mind you.  I was hoping Disco Ball would be opaque, as the shade is amazing and makes my heart sing.  I admit, I did not pay attention to the trace on the bottle so it turned out to be surprisingly sheer. No worries, I applied 1 coat of butterLONDON Nail Foundation followed by 3 coats of Disco Ball, with a minute between each coat.  Once it was time for the top coat, I applied 1 coat of Hardwear by butterLONDON, waited 2 minutes and applied a second coat.  First along the edge of all 5 nails then over the entire nail, which smooths out the polish that is now built up on the tip.  I seal the edge since highly glittered polishes feel rough; this sealing also prevents premature chipping.

Tim Gunn xox: A fashion show at Stanford.

The Big Gunn One of the coolest things about living in the Bay Area is being able to participate in the attention that is given to us by the Fashion & Beauty Industries.  I never take for granted the opportunity to see a Trend, Fashion or Cosmetics show and on Saturday 5.19 I had the pleasure of attending Stanford Shopping Center which was the host to a Spring clothing and accessories runway featuring fashion Guru Tim Gunn!! This was, by far, the most educational runway that I have ever had the pleasure of attending.  Not the standard oohhs and aahhhs at the sponsored clothes - complete wardrobes styled by Kate Spade NY, Juicy Couture and Lucky Brand - this was Tim Gunn saying how to wear the look, the individual pieces, why they work together and how they work apart.  Plus he was very verbal about who should wear each piece; Age appropriateness is key in all fashion choices. With your $150 purchase of Kate Spade NY, Juicy Couture and/or Lucky Brand you ...
