Karma :: It's everywhere you want Lush to be

Continuing my love/hate relationship with +LUSH , #Karma perfume is a must-have for any sexy raver who doesn't want to smell like a sweaty raver!! This eccentric hippy scent comes from a blend of patchouli , sweet orange and lemongrass . Mostly patchouli ! 😛 I like the solid formulation because it is easy to take on the go - the vessel is the size of a quarter - and will never leak. A little goes a long way. xoxo •Nancy-Lee

A LUSH•ous Post-Holiday Haul.

+Franci  and I met up at  +Westfield  Valley Fair the Friday  +Victoria's Secret  launched the Semi-Annual Sale. Also on the to-do list was  +LUSH Cosmetics  and the  +Gap . Click image to enlarge for detail. So what does one buy when they have a $25 Gift Card burning a hole in their pocket and all of the Christmas Buy 1 Get 1 Free  goods are gone? Everything else!  This was one of my favourite  + LUSH Cosmetics  hauls - because I bought 3 new-to-me things - and I spent a total of  $26.54, so my gift card covered all but a little sales tax.!!

Westfield Style Beauty Haul: A day at Valley Fair

Time for the Winter 2014  +Nordstrom  Beauty Trend Show. With  +Franci  by my side, we sat front row enjoying an unobstructed view of the latest work, play and holiday fashion as well as makeup and skincare specialties from the beauty department. We're always treated to a shopping tote of varying kind with water, juice, coffee and mini muffins and fruit to satisfy early morning hunger.

LUSH Grand Opening, Westfield Oakridge.

I am super happy to say, +Westfield Oakridge  now has  +LUSH Cosmetics !! This is a gorgeous shop and it will have no problem running against Valley Fair . The staff was super friendly and 2 employees even remembered my name from the last time I was in, which was 2 weeks ago on their official first day, (known as a soft opening). Pretty Impressive. This is a fun haul, I grabbed a few gifts and a thing or 2 for myself as well....

A Lush-ious Haul; Toothy Tabs and Toner.

After the third Chou Chou I Love You Toothy Tab , I was hooked. I am demonstrating this by the haul I made at +Westfield Valley Fair   +LUSH Cosmetics North America  where I added Atomic , Sparkle and Breath of God in addition to Tea Tree Water spray toner. If you know me, you know I adore facial mists and this is one is already becoming my new fave. First up, Sparkle . Sweet vanilla flavor with a hint of Sicilian lemon and grapefruit. While Sparkle is this location's #1 seller, I find the black pepper aftertaste too overpowering and a turn off. I won't repurchase this flavour. $4.95. Vegan

Santa's Scrub; From Naughty to Nice

Santa's Lip Scrub by +LUSH Cosmetics   is the most amazing lip scrub I have EVER used. It's a blend of exfoliating Fair Trade sugar and jojoba oil with the most delicious flavour of cola, ever! And I don't even like soda!! I unscrewed the lid from the round glass jar, which was part of the Christmas Kisses gift set, and discovered there were little red hearts sprinkled on top! Check out my Instagram page for a picture, it's worth the look!

Lush: A Cosmetics Haul, part deux. Review and Swatches

I grabbed a few treats from the new Lush vegan c osmetics line, a lipstick and an eyeshadow. Super excited to wear my new treasures to work the next day, I came home to swatch the shades and unfortunately discovered that my eyeshadow has been tested by another customer in the store. Refusing to put something on my eye that was probably touching someone elses dirty hand, I returned the shadow and exchanged it for the Eyes Right mascara. A more appropriate choice for me, anyway .

LUSH: A Cosmetics Mini-Haul

For Christmas last year my boyfriend gave me a $50 gift card to Lush. Having discovered this UK cult favourite in 1998 on Kings Road, I have always had a special place in my heart for the homemade treats and treasures they create. Well it's August of the following year and I have yet to use my present. Not because I don't want to buy the entire shop, believe me I do, but I haven't found that item. Then I learned that they were creating a cosmetic line! This is what I was saving my gift card for! Cupcake was the first thing that caught my eye.  A Fresh Face Mask, designed for the inventor's daughter and her friends , for the sufferers of oily or spotty skin. Cupcake is a cocoa concoction with spearmint oil to cool, vanilla absolute to calm redness and Rhassoul mud to deeply cleanse. Review to follow, shortly . And there it was. The colour wheel that I have played with online. Hidden inside are the testers - and did I test. I think I tried 7 shades of lipstick,...
