Misfits on Monday. After Hours Nail Polish Review.

I love this slate gray. Riddled with holographic shimmer, After Hours  by  +Misfits on 8th  is a perfect Fall/Winter shade. A neutral in it's own right, I applied  3 coats of   After Hours  for full opacity and I do recommend  a high shine top coat to keep it from dulling or edging. Given to me at a Las Vegas press party, Misfits on 8th is known for their DIY personalized and customized kits. Head over to their site now and discover how easy it is to make that perfect shade. xoxo •Nancy-Lee

My Nail Polish Organization

I was trying to think of the best way to access my nail polish without having to lift and lower 93520935 bottles looking for the right shade. Then it hit me: Why don't I dab a dot of lacquer on the top of each bottle so I can quickly glance over and spot the one I wish to wear! I use q-tips to apply the polish to the top of bottles, like Essie , where there isn't a separate cap, like LVX . How do you keep your bottles organized? xoxo •Nancy-Lee

Pinterest Inspiration: DIY Jewelery Hanger

Trolling Pinterest one night, I came across a repurposed wooden hanger that was upcycled into a necklace holder. Simply genius. Super easy. I knew I was the proud owner of 2 Bebe hangers from the early 2000's. I also had a drill and the right bit, I only needed Tea Cup hooks; A quick run to Home Depot and $5 later I had those too. I covered the base of the hanger, where I needed to drill and install the hooks, with blue painters tape. The tape prevents the lacquer from chipping off due to the spinning drill bit. I wasn't sure how long the hanger's hook penetrated the center of the wood, so I started my drilling 1/2" to the right and left of the center point and drilled a hole every 1".
