Indie Lee: The Daily Moisturizing Oil, Lavender

I have been using the Squalane Oil since February 2012 and it has changed the way I moisturize my skin. While casually reading product reviews on BeautyARMY one day, I saw another member mention that she likes the Lavender Oil for night time, to help her relax. Genius! Once it popped up in my window, I pounced! Already knowing how amazing this oil is, I was apt to discover the scent. It's perfect. At night time, I use it after my Toner and apply 3 drops in a pressing-style of application. Instead of rubbing my face which can create more oil, I drop the oil onto my fingertips, press my left and right hands together to distribute the product and then press my fingertips onto my skin in an upward almost rocking motion.

Skincare on schedule.

I created this Sunday to Saturday schedule so I could 'use up' all of my different skin and body care products. Silly, you might say. What I find to be silly is spending your hard earned money on ancillary items only to throw them away because they are old. Seriously, how much skincare have you 'forgotten' about? Making the schedule helped me clean out products that I no longer use and pare down the discovery of duplicates, often similar products by different vendors, that I am able to list on the Schedule and more importantly use. Finally.   All of those trend shows!  Click on Schedule to enlarge. xoxo •Nancy-Lee Read more for my current product key.

Indie Lee: The Cleanser

I usually add "Bad Ass" to the title of my Indie Lee products and this one is no exception.  I dropped my other cleanser like a hot potato and replaced it, exclusively, with Indie Lee's The Cleanser.  This makeup remover and facial cleanser is unlike anything else that I have ever used.  It pumps out like pale pink gel but emulsifies into something more like a creamy oil.  And it smells like fresh strawberries.  Real strawberries. Introduced to Indie Lee products through my employment with Beauty Army, I purchased this and several other products because they were recommended to me by Indie, herself.  I figure if they were designed by Indie for her own skin, then I can't go wrong!  And I didn't! See my Indie Lee haul, here!

Indie Lee: Squalane Oil

This 100% olive derived Squalane Oil has changed my life.  Actually Indie Lee Skincare has changed my life but that's another post!  I got to know Indie and her amazing products through my work with Beauty Army.  Deeply intrigued I made the decision to purchase several of her items off of Hautelook one weekend and it was one of the best decisions of my life.  No joke. See my Indie Lee Hautelook haul here! If you follow me on twitter you know that I tweet all the time about how Indie, ClickR, Shea Terra and ControlCorrectives have changed my skin which in turn has changed my life.  Not embarrassed by my adult acne because I don't really have any. I'm more confident in front of the camera and I am actually filming more often too.  Do I still break out?  Sure little somethin' somethin' here and there, mostly around my cycle.  Do I have mammoth blemishes like I did just 3 months ago? Nope. Not since I went to good-for-me skincare.

My May Beauty Army Kit Marched Home

We are so spoiled aren't we?  Beauty Army is able to share such amazing samples in phenomenal sizes and this mont h was not a disappointment.  As you know, I pay for my own Kit and I choose my samples, just like you.  I want the Beauty Army Experience and my membership allows me to feel the same emotions that the other members feel; from frustration to elation. What could possibly be frustrating, I work for Beauty Army?  It took 5 months for the Shea Terra Organics Bananas & Baobabs whipped moisture cream to pop up in my Selection Window!  That's right FIVE months!  haha!!  What other treasures did I treat myself too? • Institut Karite Rejuvenating Hand Cream • Indie Lee The Body Wash • Weleda Refining Toner • Marco Pelusi Leave-in Conditioner • MamaMio Tummy Rub • Shea Terra Bananas & Baobabs Moisture Cream Are you a Beauty Army member? Indie Lee : guest blogger

If you knew the danger, would you buy it? by: Indie Lee Brain Tumor Survivor; Natural Beauty Products Expert {My personal tale of all-natural skincare comes from a different place.  I was looking to finally, at nearly 40, rid my adult acne.  I have tried EVERYTHING.  I figured the only thing I hadn't tried was basically nothing.  Meaning skincare whose ingredients I could count on my fingers alone.  I made a purchase of Indie Lee skin and body care on Hautelook and when it arrived, I stopped using everything else but Indie and Clinique's Clarifying Lotion #3. I am addicted to the evaporation of alcohol on my face; I find it very refreshing. First and most importantly, I present a post by the fabulous Indie Lee.  Find the rest of my personal Indie skincare story at the bottom. xoxo} See my Indie Lee Hautelook haul here. The *Bad Ass* Body Balm by Indie Lee

I was not going to buy this, I absolutely can't stand to put my fingers into products.  I think its dirty!  I don't like the fact I always get product under my nails, and I don't want to inadvertently transfer any bacteria into the vessel.  Yet I realize I am ordering the Eye Balm too, so I tell myself to get over it!  And am I glad I kept it in the cart! I first heard of Indie Lee through Beauty Army .com.  I was intrigued by not only her story but how she crafted her skin care.  No green-washing here, only the finest, highest quality ingredients from all over the world.  The first thing I thought of when I unscrewed the top was, it looks like a pot of beeswax; that same goldenrod shade of yellow.

The *Bad Ass* Body Scrub by Indie Lee

This is one of those products I wish I never purchased.  But I still would have been screwed because I selected a deluxe sample size in my Beauty Army Kit, so the high probability of a  reorder would have been inevitable either way.  I am so in love with Indie Lee's The Body Scrub , I am already half way through it and I am getting ready to buy a second one. Not for the faintest of hearts... this scrub features a rough cane sugar texture so if you are very sensitive, you might not like the feel of this at first; it could feel as though it is scratching you.  But once you get past that initial ouchie phase and the sugar starts to melt a little, it becomes extremely pleasant.
