A $99 CVS Haul and $6.47 in profit.

I have been on a roll with my savings at CVS and this trip was no different. Stacking the ExtraBucks and Beauty Rewards I earned last week with Manufacture coupons on top of a $6 off $30 Beauty Purchase eCoupon, I scored $99.06 in product which I paid $15.53 out of pocket and earned $22 in ExtraBucks for my next shopping trip! It feels like I was paid $6.47 to shop! There is a 12 pack of Bounty paper towels and a 16 roll pack of Charmin toilet paper not pictured. How did we do it? Danny purchased Bounty paper towels, Charmin toilet paper & Dawn (these 3 items earned $5EB), Clear shampoo (on clearance for $2.39 - $2 CVS coupon = 39¢), Carefree panty liners and (1) Tom's deodorant (on sale for $3.69 and he earned a $1EB). He paid using $17.77EB, 25¢ MFCoupon, $5 off $25 purchase bringing his out of pocket to $1.31 and he has $6EB for next time.

Saving 90% on Essie, Nivea and Yes To at CVS

All of this for $5.56. This haul happened because I earned so many ExtraBucks form my last shopping trip + I had high value coupons to deepen the discounting. Danny and I each have our own ExtraCare care cards, here is his purchase: The 2 pack of Dove Men soap ($4.49) was on sale for $3.00. He purchased 5 packs to bring his cart to $15. He started the savings with a $5 off $15 CVS eCoupon then redeemed a $2 off bar soap CVS coupon, $2.50 ExtraBucks from last weeks toothpaste purchase and $5.00 in Beauty Rewards. Danny's out of pocket: 50¢. That's right 5 packs of Dove soap - 10 bars total - for a total of 50¢ . And since he spent $15 in Dove during their promo, he earned $3 ExtraBucks!!

All this for $13.79 - My latest CVS Haul.

Coupons coupons coupons! Here is $62.85 in product from CVS which I couponed down to $32.39. Part of this purchase, 3 items, qualify for 100% MIR (mail in rebate) returning $18.60 back to my wallet bringing my total out of pocket expense to $13.79 for everything pictured. Now you know me, this wasn't my only savings... I earned $20 in CVS ExtraBucks for my next shopping trip : $2.50 on each Colgate and $15.00 in Beauty Rewards! Which I already know how I am going to spend! At the register I used: 3x 50¢ off on the Freeman Masks 2x $1.00 off Kiss My Face soap 1x $2.00 Covergirl coupon + 1x $2.00 CVS 'mascara' coupon and a 40% off CVS products coupon for the cotton rounds. Do you have any questions about couponing? Leave your questions in the comments below, Kitten! xoxo •Nancy-Lee *Danny and I have our own ExtraCare cards, this is our combined purchase.

Drugstore Favourites *A collaboration* Part 3

You know I love CVS and this third Drugstore Favourites post only solidifies my feelings! Today I am partnering with @ IggiSmallz @ AuttyW @ beautyprodwhore @ myKYRA87   @fashionCHICsta @ makeuprshutup   So make sure you check out their posts, too! Up first is:   Güd : Natural Body Mist, Orange Petalooza. So yummy, I have to restrain myself from opening the vessel and sipping the blood orange Güdness. This is a great way to smell special without wearing perfume. When I wear it, I apply 2 spritzes of Orange Petalooza . I think this is the perfect spray for those times I am working or relaxing at home or even running errands and am looking for something less formal. Part of Burt's Bees, Orange Petalooza Natural Body Mist does not contain parabens, phthalates or petrochemicals. This 3oz spray is TSA-Friendly and retails for $6.00. This Body Mist was provided as part of a Klout perk .

F resh. F un. F abulous. T ry something totally unexpected like this adorable newbie green nail lacquer and you'll want to do it again and again. How awesome is this m inty green ? It's just screaming to be paired with a pair of navy sailor pants a nd a white shirt with a pop of yellow from your choice in sho e. The second I saw this in CVS , I had to have it. I haven't purchase d Essie in a few mont hs so this was a nice treat and  fun switch up. And I didn't purchase it al one: Come Here! came with us. I started with Nail Foundation and added 2 coats of First Timer , with 2 minutes between coat 1 and 2. It was one of those... 'I don't need anything but I'm sooo close to another $5ExtraBucks b eauty reward.... so......" purchases. You know what I'm talking about.

Weleda: Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream Review

The very first thing I notice is, how thick these cream is yay and how much is smells like Sicilian Blood Orange.   Its a super sexy scent that reminds me of the vacation the BF and I took; the provided toiletries in our hotel were of the same aroma.   Alcohol is the third ingredient and it's presence is noticeable, first by smell and then by evaporation.  I feel heavy moisture with no grease. It has almost a powdery feeling. "Sun-soaked organic sea buckthorn oil is packed with essential fatty acids that lavishly moisturize. Pro-vitamin A and vitamin E, which smooth, soften and strengthen skin and antioxidant-rich organic sesame seed oil. With a citrusy fragrance from sun-drenched essential oils of mandarins, oranges and grapefruits." I can't stop smelling my hands and now I wish I would have been able to purchase more than one! Retailing for $11.00 I scored this 1.7floz tube at CVS on clearance for $5.49! The 100% recyclable aluminum vessel with the screw...

Spongeables: Pedi-Scrub

Not one to buy random drugstore pedi things, I can't explain why I was so intrigued but I made this purchase at CVS one Sunday.  From a brand called Spongeables this pedi-scrub foot buffer is said to 4 in 1: cleanse, exfoliate, massage and moisturize.  The sponge is is created with a mix of Glycerin, Olive Oil, Shea Butter and Tea Tree Oil and features a slight Lavender scent.  The box states that it will last for 20+ washes.  There is a noticeable pink sponge coated in product.

How to Save at CVS

Extreme couponing isn't about buying 100 of 1 item and looking like a hoarder, it's about saving money for your family.  I don't just walk into CVS and save 90% it involves a bit of planning and a bit more patience.  Let me show you how I was able to come home with this: Four (4) wet Swiffer 12packs and three (3) 12packs of Charmin toilet paper for $6.95.

Rollin Rollin Rollin

Keep your coupons rolling...... How to roll your CVS ExtraBucks and WAG RapidRewards to pay as little OOP as possible. Let's use today's purchase from CVS as our example and see how I paid only $18.85 for $89.14 in product for (4) showergels, (2) powder drink mixes (2) Arm&Hammer dryer sheets (1) Vitamin D (4) Cranberry supplements (2) Finish tabs (1) Nivea cellulite serum (2) GreenBag Tags. All of this for $18.85 @ CVS

100% Pure Purity Hydrating Tonique

Acne care I have been looking for natural alternatives to my skincare regime and this toner has won a permanent spot!  I have used Clinique's Clarifying lotion #3 for 20 years and although I am extremely happy with it, I am looking to be more green. I tip the bottle twice onto my cotton round.  Not saturating, just 2 damp spots.  I was afraid that my skin would feel sticky after the application since there wouldn't be an evaporation period due to the lack of alcohol, but it didn't feel that way.  As an oily skin the last thing I want to feel is sticky residue after I washed all the grime off.  I actually enjoy the addition of alcohol;   I like the coolness and the quick dry-down time.  Not only do I feel comfortably hydrated, this product does dry down completely.

My Extreme Couponing Binder.

The key to savings is organization.  Well, lots of elbow grease and a solid understanding that you must be organized.  I have been following The Krazy Coupon Lady , learning her techniques and best practices and I have been doing fairly well for myself.   So let me share with you my binder.  I'm super proud of it.   I bought the binder at target, It is a 1.5",  soon I will need either another or a larger replacement.  It is stuffed with baseball Trading Card Pages that I purchased at Staples.  I bought 4 packages for $2.99 per package.

Spa Soothing Eye Gel ~ Yes to Cuke

I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable I felt after using this. This clear gel is very thick, a little goes a long way and it is almost creamy in consistency. The gel dries quickly and I never feel residue but I know something is there - there is a comfortable tightness to my skin. I have never had an issue with this 'balling-up' during application.  You know - when you either use to much or rub too much and it seems like the product just fails and balls up? lol. Plus, as the day wear on, this does not warm and transfer into my eyes. I have oily eyelids - lots of products warm and transfer on me. *sigh*

Say YES! to Blueberries Eye Firming Treatment

First off, I love the vessel.  Even though the .5oz siphon pump delivers too much product, you will be able to use every single drop of this cream. Provided that you control the pump, you will have zero wasted product = excellent return on investment.  The cap locks tight and you can easily toss it in an overnight bag for travel.  Plus the vessel is recyclable.  top: full amount distributed by the pump.  Below: the amount you actually use. Night time: I let my eye area get a little dry after I washed my face so I could get a true feel for this product.  The first thing that I noticed was how cooling it felt.  I usually use All About Eyes from Clinique and this was a different feel.  It's more like a lotion than the cream/gel formula I am used to using.  This product seemed a little more 'wet' to me but very comfortable.   Within 30 seconds I could feel the tightness around my eyes disappear and my skin feels very comfortable....
