Shea Terra Organics : Moroccan Rose Water

"Leave your skin silky soft as you tone and hydrate with true rose water. 100% Natural. Moroccan rose water is great for tired eyes, moisturizing skin, cooling inflamed skin and much more." Toner, the often oh-so-forgotten step of our skincare regime is an import part of our arsenal and should not be cast aside so quickly. Toners balance the skin and remove debris left behind after using masks and soaps . Toners also prepare skin for the next steps: serums and moisturizers. Antioxidant rich Rose W ater is a byproduct of steam distillation, the process that's used to isolate the plant's essential oil.  One of the main benefits of rose water is that it acts as an anti-inflammatory, soothing irritated skin.

Shea Terra Organics : Marula Body Nectar

I love dry oil. It is my favourite product to use to moisturize my body skin. I have always felt that lotions and creams just sit there never fully sinking in which makes me feel greasy, even dirty, like I need to shower. Of course that has much to do with the ingredients of the product, but heavy feeling all the same. When I made my very first Shea Terra Organics haul, I grabbed a bottle of Marula Shea Body Nectar Spray Oil .  Made from cold pressed marula oil, one of the most anti-oxidant rich oils in the world, it smells like warm almond cookies. But not in a youth-fragrance kind of way. This is mature and sexy. The interesting thing about this scent is, it dissipates quickly so I can wear my normal perfume, as usual.  Created with pure fractionated oil of the shea butter fruit, it is a moderately heavy weighted product that does not quickly run making it easy to use. I will say the spray bottle sprays with force in more of a stream pattern than a misting spray. I find...

Shea Terra Organics: My Third Haul

It's no secret that I love Shea Terra Organics. I ran out of my Orange Blossom Water and wanted to purchase a second jar and since @StephsBeautyYT gifted me a $40voucher from SpaRahRah , I knew I would have to add something else to my cart. Quickly I found the Argan Rosemary Cleansing Oil. I am all about oil right now, as I have switched my skincare to 100% non-greenwashed Natural products. Totaling $40 exactly, I only had to pay for shipping. Which I paid for using the $10 Visa provided to me from @Klout and @Bing! BAZING!

Shea Terra Organics: Orange Blossom Water

I'm sure you are aware that I have switched all of my skincare to all natural products, mostly Indie Lee.  How every she doesn't currently offer a toner and I am a former Clinique Clarifying Lotion addict, so I like to apply something in between my cleanser and my moisturizer. During my last Shea Terra haul I ordered Orange Blossom Pure Distillate Water, a 100% natural astringent for oily and acne prone skin.  Used the same way Clarifying lotion; apply this hydrosol from Morocco to a cotton round and rub over face in circular motion to remove debris from my pores, I was a bit skeptical because it is alcohol free and I very much enjoy the cooling feeling that evaporation provides. I was also skeptical about the smell. I am not really a fan of orange blossom so I was hoping it didn't smell like a flower bomb and it doesn't - it is more of an herbal floral as it is authentic and not perfumed. Skincare on schedule.

I created this Sunday to Saturday schedule so I could 'use up' all of my different skin and body care products. Silly, you might say. What I find to be silly is spending your hard earned money on ancillary items only to throw them away because they are old. Seriously, how much skincare have you 'forgotten' about? Making the schedule helped me clean out products that I no longer use and pare down the discovery of duplicates, often similar products by different vendors, that I am able to list on the Schedule and more importantly use. Finally.   All of those trend shows!  Click on Schedule to enlarge. xoxo •Nancy-Lee Read more for my current product key.

Shea Terra Organics Haul

I discovered the niche brand Shea Terra Organics through Beauty Army when I received a sample of Rose Hips Black soap in my second Kit.  My next plan of action was to follow them on Facebook and Twitter as well as join their mailing list.  You never know.   I was so glad I opened my email one morning to discover a 30% coupon!!  Holla! "Not only do Shea Terra Organics skin care treatments assist in preservation, they are also the backbone of economic sustainability for many hardworking families across the continent. Since early 2000, Shea Terra Organics has worked closely with cooperatives and conservation groups to introduce Africas time-tested ingredients to the world. " -SheaTerraOrganics.com

Micro-dermabrasion in a Bottle.

I was super excited to be able to select Shea Terra Organics Rose Hips black soap as one of the samples in my Beauty Army Kit.  After I heard the members rave and rave about how fabulous it is, I was keeping my fingers crossed that I would be also be able to choose this bottle of black gold.  I knew the product would be black in colour but that's actually all I knew. I heard all kinds of descriptions from, 'it doesn't smell like anything' to 'It smells like dirt' and even a 'It smells like dog biscuits.' To me the scent is very light. It smells herbal like vitamins. This does not bother me because I do not want perfume in my facial cleanser.  Why would I... what is the fragrance trying to cover?
