I felt 'forced' to make a purchase in order of maintaining my Sephora VIB status. I had to spend $70 in the next 35 days and knowing I can level up to Rouge next year I had to shelf the conflict of not wanting to lose my current position with not needing to buy more beauty products. Fortunately that $20 gift card came my way and I sucked it up and pulled the plug on a final 2013 purchase. It wouldn't have left such an aftertaste of regret had every single box not been opened, as evident by the torn corners. Just leads a gal to wonder where they were before my house. *shivers* Anyhoo...
First in the cart, Clean Body Powder, my Mom's favourite body powder. Mine too, I own a tub of my own. It is divine. $28 down, $42 to go. Why look at this delicious lip balm! The Almond Candy delight by Philosophy was $12. (It's now on the sale page which is also an additional 20% off. HURRY!) That leaves $30 till VIB is *still* mine!! One thing I noticed with more and more nail polish swatches is, I am not taking care of my nails the way I should. While I know there are less expensive options on the market, I chose Deborah Lippmann Cuticle Remover for $20 based on the 5 star reviews. After my first use, I'm pretty sure I lost 5 pounds with the amount of cuticle I cut off! My nails haven't looked this healthy in years. The dropper bottles is very easy to use and apply the non-sticky serum which sinks in quickly. In the quest for an even $10 item to round out my purchase, I found it with a clearance compact: a Sephora eyeshadow quad in Night in Pink Satin. 2 shades of pink, black and silver. It looks like a #RaiderNation dream come true!
So I did it! *wipes sweat from perfectly highlighted brow* I spent $70, saved $20 and scored the Fresh Sugar Lemon deluxe sample spray as a Promo Code GWP gotta love RetailMeNot.com!
Are you a VIB or Rouge?
Do you have any of these products?
Leave me a comment and tell me which one(s) you have tried or which one(s) you would like me to review first.
