This dusty black pullover features a slight ombre and is crafted of a cotton polyester blend. With long sleeves, this lightweight tee is very soft and lands just past my hips. The application of this lacquer was unlike any Essie shade I have applied, it was more like the consistency of a Deborah Lippmann ; jelly-like. Matte in the finish, the first coat of Shake Your Money Maker was very streaky. You are going to want to apply 3 thin strokes of this polish and build the coverage. It took 3 coats for me to achieve the level of opacity I was looking for. I added a Hardwear , a high-shine topcoat by Butter London to punch this shade up a notch and extend the wear. It lasted 2.5 days before it chipped and did not stain my nails upon removal 4 days after application. I started with Nail Foundation base coat by Butter London . It took a while for Shake Your Money Maker to cure. In the meantime, I smudged 4 nails. womp womp . This is a rich attention grabbing shade and I am looking forward to wearing it again. This post is looooooooong overdue. My apologies to Amika. Several months ago I was asked if I would like to review a few Amika items on my blog and I jumped at the chance. Truth be told, I didn't believe that there was a difference between the less expensive hot hair tools I had purchased from Target and the more expensive tools I found on the Love Amika site. Now, I will be the first to say that I am very, very new at hair styling. You'll notice I never offer haircare tips on my blog because it is not my strength but this collection is going to change all of that! #StayTuned Click image to enlarge for detail. Intrigued with the product selection, my attention was instantly caught by the I <3 NY styler/flat iron. I love everything about this: from the box to the styler. In fact, the box is the screensaver on my iPhone which the Amika ladies at CosmoprofLV went crazy for!!

One of my dear friends made a comment that I only seem to post +4 star products. Which got me to thinking, it's because I do not come across products that don't deliver that often. I make mention of this because this is one of those rare times that something didn't deliver. WINK Cream Eye Shadow in Jaded Jack . This grass green shimmer is very thin in consistency. Actually it is quite 'watery'. You have to have a light hand and apply this with as few strokes as possible; the more you mess with it the less product seems to stick around. And while I was able to add an additional coat on to the back of my hand to deepen the finish, that didn't translate to my eyelid. I was only able to apply one coat or the second coat lifted the first. So I went for a simple eye.
