I wanted to inspire.  This Kit is so awesome, I didn't want to put it in the recycle bin, I wanted show possibilities.  I have been looking for an acrylic nail polish holder for several weeks and I just can't find anything that I like.  Then last week, out of the blue I received a catalogue to The Container Store and was hoping to find a polish holder but instead I came across an acrylic lipstick holder.  Intrigued, I compared the measurement of the holder to the Kit and was SHOCKED to discover it is almost the same exact size.  The very next day I ran over to my local store, Kit in hand and purchased the holder.  It was only $7 and holds 24 tubes.

 I was not going to buy this, I absolutely can't stand to put my fingers into products.  I think its dirty!  I don't like the fact I always get product under my nails, and I don't want to inadvertently transfer any bacteria into the vessel.  Yet I realize I am ordering the Eye Balm too, so I tell myself to get over it!  And am I glad I kept it in the cart! I first heard of Indie Lee through Beauty Army .com.  I was intrigued by not only her story but how she crafted her skin care.  No green-washing here, only the finest, highest quality ingredients from all over the world.  The first thing I thought of when I unscrewed the top was, it looks like a pot of beeswax; that same goldenrod shade of yellow.

For all skin types, these strips are designed to help unplug the pores across your nose. The 6 strips for $15, contain Charcoal Powder which draws out impurities, Silica to control excess oil and Witch Hazel Extract tightens the look of your pores once the strip is removed.   I follow the directions: wash your face, with dry hands apply a strip to your very wet nose and let dry till hard, about 15 - 20 minutes. I notice as it dries not only does it become hard, it tightens and slightly restricts my breathing.  I believe it is not the strips fault as I only feel this way on one side of my nose, so i blame my placement. Once it is dry, I peel the sides first and then the tip of my nose, upward.  It requires more force to remove than I was expecting. It's kind of like pulling dry duct tape off my face.  It was tough, uncomfortable and you know what? I got upper epidermal lifting - when the top layer of your skin is removed and it feels & looks like a burn . My n...

I can't wax my legs because a medication I take for rosacea causes my skin to thin. If I wax, it will most likely cause "upper epidermal lifting" which is fancy talk for "will rip the top layer of skin off of your body".   I know - I have made the mistake twice.  Both times on my face.  So I decided to use the epilater tool on my bliss Bikini Perfect Deluxe - Spa Edition.  Remember the epilater craze?  Early '90's?  Do you know what an epliater is?  Let me give you the 411.  Imagine 5 wheels at alternating angles.  Like this --> /\/\/\ these wheels spin and try to grab the hair and yank it out of your body.  Basically, it's like having 5 tweezers, grabbing hairs, not all in the same spot but as you move this thing in a 'shaving' motion up your leg. A little here a little there.

This is one of those products I wish I never purchased.  But I still would have been screwed because I selected a deluxe sample size in my Beauty Army Kit, so the high probability of a  reorder would have been inevitable either way.  I am so in love with Indie Lee's The Body Scrub , I am already half way through it and I am getting ready to buy a second one. Not for the faintest of hearts... this scrub features a rough cane sugar texture so if you are very sensitive, you might not like the feel of this at first; it could feel as though it is scratching you.  But once you get past that initial ouchie phase and the sugar starts to melt a little, it becomes extremely pleasant.

I was super excited to be able to select Shea Terra Organics Rose Hips black soap as one of the samples in my Beauty Army Kit.  After I heard the members rave and rave about how fabulous it is, I was keeping my fingers crossed that I would be also be able to choose this bottle of black gold.  I knew the product would be black in colour but that's actually all I knew. I heard all kinds of descriptions from, 'it doesn't smell like anything' to 'It smells like dirt' and even a 'It smells like dog biscuits.' To me the scent is very light. It smells herbal like vitamins. This does not bother me because I do not want perfume in my facial cleanser.  Why would I... what is the fragrance trying to cover?
