essie : Power Clutch Swatch and Review

I hate to admit that I actually forgot I had this shade. It happens. I was cleaning out my beauty storage area in my home office and came across a miscellaneous bag of stuff. Inside was a full size bottle of Power Clutch, a striking deep grey-green, perfect for Winter. I start with 1 coat of Nailtiques Formula 2 followed by 2 coats of Power Clutch. The polish applies evenly, smoothly and streak-free. I top it with 1 coat of Butter LONDON Hardware quick dry topcoat.

It's a dark sexy charcoal with that has been kissed by a dusty military green. Retailing for $8.00 this collection is '3-free' (DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde free). This creamy opaque shade lasted 4.5 days before it chipped. I'm not joking, 4 and a half days. I am totally in love with this shade and can not wait to apply it again and this time use it as a base to some nail art. I rate Power Clutch a coveted 5 out of 5 stars. Sold out online, you're going to have to find this 5 star treat in stores.

Do you have Power Clutch?
What is your favourite essie shade?
