Juicy haul of Black Friday Couture

It's old news that I made a HUGE Black Friday - Cyber Monday haul... There were 16 boxes in all. Here is my first purchase, from Juicy Couture, which I placed on Thanksgiving evening. They we're offering 40% off site wide so I pounced! Foiled Skinny Jean WAS $198.00 / NOW $69.99- 40% = $41.99 Let us introduce you to the skinny that refuses to be ignored. Light-reflecting, applied metallic foil makes sure of that. Rhinestone and logo grommets. The base of these Made in the USA jeans is black with pink foil on top. It feels a bit 'rubbery' but they feature the right mix of cotton, spandex and polyester making them very comfortable. While I was strongly influenced to purchase these because of my pink hair, the 80% savings didn't damper my decision making!

Saving $1481 on Juicy Couture and Coach

I don't always have the lucky shopping streak but when I do, it is undeniably pure magic. Take my latest trip to the outlet mall in Gilroy. On a strict no-buy, I haven't been there in several months and it is safe to say this haul made up for lost time! I'm not sure why I went, especially on a Saturday morning following Christmas but I had a feeling when I woke that day to make the trip. I was shocked how empty the parking lot was at 11:00am. I made a b-line for Coach as it is notorious for having a quickly building queue to enter the store. Without wait I was in sale heaven: 70% off of clearance merchandise + 10% off your cart. Let me say, I saved $836!! I grabbed a few New Years Eve gifts as well as a couple treasures for myself... My new handbag, wallet and clutch!

Adding Drama with Juicy Couture.

Click image to enlarge for detail. Aptly named Multi Rhinestone Drama Necklace , this beautiful piece has been crafted by Juicy Couture . Collar style, it starts with round raspberry stones followed by a strand of smokey charcoal in pear shape. Bright pink pairs with raspberry as the only 2 strands to extend all the way to the lobster claw clasp. Two rows of 'diamonds' take the visual weight off of this necklace and ground the look. With turquoise blue perfect for saying I do! And the green.... those pale 'emeralds' are exactly what this necklace needs to be over the top glamourous and still denim fabulous !

A Spring Shopping Spree at Valley Fair.

Warning : T his is picture heavy! Valley Fair has always been a lovely mall and the longer I live here the more it is becoming an amazingly couture shopping destination. I like to go to the mall to browse around and get out of the house . T his day, I had a few gift cards and coupons burning a hole in my pocketbook... Join me as I take you on a little fashion haul, just in time for Juicy Couture's new store opening! They are relocating across the hall and I am attending the New Store Opening tonight - make sure you are following me on Instagram for pictures from the event! Image: TheLimited.com It starts with The Limited . My re discovered fascination with The Limited added 2 bottoms to my closet: A gorgeous, 50's inspired pencil skirt. This sunshine yellow has been kissed with acid but not slobbered on. The shade is more electric then pastel. White polka d ots and piping really make this skirt pop and the slit up the back of the leg is not only sexy, it enables mo...

Tim Gunn xox: A fashion show at Stanford.

The Big Gunn One of the coolest things about living in the Bay Area is being able to participate in the attention that is given to us by the Fashion & Beauty Industries.  I never take for granted the opportunity to see a Trend, Fashion or Cosmetics show and on Saturday 5.19 I had the pleasure of attending Stanford Shopping Center which was the host to a Spring clothing and accessories runway featuring fashion Guru Tim Gunn!! This was, by far, the most educational runway that I have ever had the pleasure of attending.  Not the standard oohhs and aahhhs at the sponsored clothes - complete wardrobes styled by Kate Spade NY, Juicy Couture and Lucky Brand - this was Tim Gunn saying how to wear the look, the individual pieces, why they work together and how they work apart.  Plus he was very verbal about who should wear each piece; Age appropriateness is key in all fashion choices. With your $150 purchase of Kate Spade NY, Juicy Couture and/or Lucky Brand you ...

Deborah Lippmann & Tony Surratt for Juicy Couture

Lookie what I found under the tree!!! I didn't know that Juicy Couture teamed with Deborah Lippmann and make-up artist to the stars, Troy Surratt for a Holiday '11 collection. I was trolling their sale page during Black Friday looking for fun things for the BF to buy during the additional 40% off and I stumbled upon it! The Deborah Lippmann polish is what actually caught my attention and I notice then the champagne bottle... of what I thought was gold lipstick. Only when I opened the box did I discover it was a gloss. My heart sank a little. I do not like lipgloss that much. How could I have made such a mistake? Well, l better give it a go and it I don't like it I can give it away. Nope. I love it! It is a very sheer golden shimmer, lightweight and zero stickiness and lasts forever!! I am in love!! Now I find it a BLESSING that this came with gloss. Once again, the Goddess Mother teaching me to not have expectations and keep an open mind!
