Hilton 6 piece Haul: Peter Thomas Roth

We stayed at the Hilton in Pasadena during our booth attendance for iMATS LA 2012.  It was by far, one of the best hotel experiences that I have had. Only beaten by The Hard Rock in Tampa during a Dave Matthews Concert.  The room was awesome, the Bar was fab and the 2 ladies that ran the bar were both superb!  Peter, the driver took exceptional care of all the guests and knew so much about the town - he gave us a fabulous history lessen every time he drove us to and fro the hotel.   As far back as I can remember I have taken the provided toiletries during my hotel stays. I found it to be an opportunity to try products that I normally would have not been able to test out, usually because the full sizes of the samples are out of my budget.  Guess it is fair to say that I have always been fascinated with samples!

gloss by Kollagenx an iMATS Haul

More than just a gloss, this lip treatment is infused with 24kt gold.  With lip-plumping collagen and Vitamin E, this luxurious gloss has been formulated to enhance cell renewal, reduce lip wrinkles and increase volume without the burn of traditional lip 'plumping' products.

Purely Cosmetics: Diamond Perfect Finish Powder

This is one of those items sampled in Beauty Army Kits.  Only not my Kit.  Unfortunately, it never popped up in my selection window.  No bother I picked one up at iMATS!  Real diamonds?  Yes!  And I got the real scoop: These aren't the sparky diamonds that were headed for Tiffany & Co. these are the pieces that were cut off of those diamonds! And why is this powder infused with these sparkly wonders? Because they bend light, disguising pores and wrinkles.  And I don't mind my pores pulling a disappearing act!  Watch out for my review.. It will be posted shortly! Did you have a chance to select this in your Beauty Army Kit? xoxo •Nancy-Lee

iMATS: Makeup Brush Haul

I use CoverFX primer, concealer, foundation and powder so who better to ask which brushes I should use then the artists at CoverFX themselves.  On a super tight budget I couldn't spring for the Branded brushes so I asked for a less expensive alternative and was escorted to a bay of bdellium tools where I purchased #948 for Foundation and #775 Duet Fiber Shader for applying my concealer.

Stila Cosmetics: an iMATS Haul

These were a great deal, regularly $22 a piece, I scored these waterproof liners for $12.50 each while attending iMATS Los Angeles.  I can't wait to break these open and enjoy the bright, slightly shimmery stay the day shades. How about you, Gorgeous? Have you tried these Stila liners? Which shades? xoxo •Nancy-Lee
