Butter London's LOLLY, pops!

Good morning , Kittens! To celebrate Butter London's appearance on HauteLook this morning, I present Lolly Brights! I am still girl crushing about my encounter at +Nordstrom   +Westfield Valley Fair   yesterday! Franci and I went specifically to see +Katie Jane Hughes   - w e ran to see her before the fashion show ended and the masses ascended the beauty department - we wanted to check out anything new and of course, get our pictures taken together. After big hugs, she showed us the new line, Lolly Brights and told us about their amazing GWP and Bonus Gift.

Hautelook: A Customer Service Shoutout

I made a multi-item purchase of Institute Karite on HauteLook and when it arrived I opened the box to discover that one of my items was damaged. The outer shipping box was not damaged but this tin of body exfoliater sure was.  Immediately I called Hautelook's Customer Service line where I spoke with a very sweet lady named Tiffany.  I told her what happened and she promptly apologized and sympathized with me about the damage, explained why they would be unable to replace the defective unit and processed a refund to my card for the cost of the scrub and tax.   Wow.  I was hoping for a replacement and expecting a credit on my account for a future purchase, not a full refund.  The surprise and delight was fabulous.

HauteLook Haul: Institut Karite

Another dreamy Brand that I met through my Beauty Army Kits! Institut Karite is a company known for it's shea butter or karite .  I am so in love with the hand cream that was in my May Beauty Army Kit, when I saw IK pop up on Hautelook one day I POUNCED!  But what else is new, right?   I was super excited as Hautelook is a hit or miss when it comes to a large variety of pr oducts .  Fortunately, this was a total hit.

Priti NYC: Soy Nail Polish Remover

I was super excited to try this! Not only because it is a 100 % Biodegradable wipe, because it is soy based , non -toxic , not carcinogenic a nd contains 4 ingredients: Methyl Soyate, Dimethyl Adipate, Dimethyl Gluterate, Cymbopogon Flexuosus   Oil - more commonly known as Lemongrass oil.    Priti, a word in Sanskrit with several meanings such as: out of satisfaction, with love and pleasurable sensation. From one of my BeautyBox5 beauty sample subscription boxes, it came in a foil packet, towelette style - like a bbq wipe! BB5 is selling a 10 pack for $10 but I do not see the wipes on PritiNYC's own website. *shrugs*

Indie Lee: Squalane Oil

This 100% olive derived Squalane Oil has changed my life.  Actually Indie Lee Skincare has changed my life but that's another post!  I got to know Indie and her amazing products through my work with Beauty Army.  Deeply intrigued I made the decision to purchase several of her items off of Hautelook one weekend and it was one of the best decisions of my life.  No joke. See my Indie Lee Hautelook haul here! If you follow me on twitter you know that I tweet all the time about how Indie, ClickR, Shea Terra and ControlCorrectives have changed my skin which in turn has changed my life.  Not embarrassed by my adult acne because I don't really have any. I'm more confident in front of the camera and I am actually filming more often too.  Do I still break out?  Sure little somethin' somethin' here and there, mostly around my cycle.  Do I have mammoth blemishes like I did just 3 months ago? Nope. Not since I went to good-for-me skincare.

Indie Lee : guest blogger

If you knew the danger, would you buy it? by: Indie Lee Brain Tumor Survivor; Natural Beauty Products Expert {My personal tale of all-natural skincare comes from a different place.  I was looking to finally, at nearly 40, rid my adult acne.  I have tried EVERYTHING.  I figured the only thing I hadn't tried was basically nothing.  Meaning skincare whose ingredients I could count on my fingers alone.  I made a purchase of Indie Lee skin and body care on Hautelook and when it arrived, I stopped using everything else but Indie and Clinique's Clarifying Lotion #3. I am addicted to the evaporation of alcohol on my face; I find it very refreshing. First and most importantly, I present a post by the fabulous Indie Lee.  Find the rest of my personal Indie skincare story at the bottom. xoxo} See my Indie Lee Hautelook haul here.
