UNII Cosmetics: A Complete Makeup Overhaul

It started off so innocently, as it always does. I was working the booth for BeautyARMY and the sweetest lady came over chatting about her products, Clever Girl Innovations and her booth-mates: UNII Cosmetics and the UNII Palette . Being a loyal Stila user I am familiar with the palette storage of makeup but not until I deepened my involvement in the Beauty Industry did I consider depotting my products. Actually I hadn't given it thought until that fateful day at iMATS. Totally intrigued, I purchased one in Pear and promptly got to work. UNII is pronounced like UNI que. You-knee.  Not ooh-knee.

LaRocca: Cellular Gold Hydrating Body Balm

"With an enriching blend of Cupuaçu butter, Shea butter and olive oil, this ultra-rich nourishing balm soothes and melts beautifully into the skin adding intense moisture lasting all day." Everything stated is true and that is why this is my go-to body balm. Mainly used to keep my 'old lady hands' moisturized for hours, I also like it for my tattoos as it brings back the vibrancy of the ink and it keeps my heels crack-free since it effectively and naturally softens without the weight of a heavy cream.

Egyptian Magic: Skin Cream Review

" This miraculous all-purpose formula will amaze you ."   Has it ever!! I have been singing the praises of this multipurpose magic cream since the samples first arrived in our office. It comes out of the packette as a thick a balm since the natural ingrediants can turn to a semi-state in colder environments. Follow the directions and emulsify it into an oil-like consistency. If you do not do this, you will find it too think to properly apply. I put a small amount of Egyptian Magic on my fingertips and rub it between my left and right hand, creating friction so my skin fully absorbs the oil. This magical cream can be used as a night moisturizer, eye cream, hair defrizzer and split-end mender. Try it as a lip balm, healing cuticle conditioner as well as a treatment for conditions like eczema, psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.  Having antibacterial properties and containing no toxins, it a perfect stretch mark prevention cream for use during pregn...

Weleda: Refining Toner Review

I was super excited to be able to try this through BeautyARMY. I am always skeptical of toners, they usually leave my face feeling sticky. I was a loyal user of Clinique's Clarifying Lotion for 22 years and in February, I made the decision to move all of my skincare all-natural . I switched from Clarifying Lotion to Shea Terra Organics Orange Water but I was running low and looking for an alternative that is more readily available. I tilt the sample jar twice on to my cotton round and apply to my face in a circular motion with slight pressure. From my May Kit, this Toner surprised me. I know it contains alcohol but it is lacking the menthol and salicylic acid of the Clinique product - making this more comfortable feeling. Very comfortable feeling actually. My face likes it. It does not leave any trace behind and I feel a little cleaner after using it. Toners remove any soap residue from your cleanser and prep the skin for your moisturizer. The smell is a herbal/medicinal sce...
