Upward and Onward.

Do you know the reason behind applying your skincare in an upward and outward motion?  Your pores are shaped like little cones and those little cones are facing in a downward position.  By pushing your cleaners 'up' you are truly pushing the product into your pores allowing the cleanser to work more effectively.  The 'out' motion is what releases the makeup, oil and dirt - without squeezing, damaging and subsequently aging your facial skin.

NatureLuxe or NatureBust?

So I have mixed feelings when it comes to 'natural' cosmetics.  As much as I stand behind the philosophy of the products, they lack staying power because they are missing all of the 'bad stuff'.

I'm not a foundation wearer.  I usually mix NARS Illuminating serum with my Clinique DDMG and dust my t-zone with loose powder.  As I turn the corner a little closer to 40, I'm on a quest to find the perfect sheer coverage that doesn't look ashy over my freckles and sun damage.

OPI leaves me Feelin' Hot - Hot - Hot

From the South Beach Collection, this opaque pink reminds me of the plastic flamingos on everyone's yard growing up in Florida.  This is a If your looking for full coverage fast, this does it in only 2 coats, beautifully.  I'm so into it right now, I wore it 2 weeks in a row.

I scored this 50% off @PureBeauty.
Just make sure you use a top coat, gorgeous.  It chips easily.
I rate this polish 4.5 out of 5 stars.
The shade scored extra points!

Gimmicky Gadget or an Investment Worth Every Penny?

This brush is amazing.
I purchased this at Sephora, specifically because it was the BCA model. It comes with the sensitive brush head which I think is a good starter brush, after 90 days I replaced it with the normal brush head. *I now replace my brush head every 70 days - I think 90 is too long, I feel the brush start to soften, like when you need to change your toothbrush

My skin was visibly cleaner after the first use. It was super soft and smooth, there wasn't a trace of makeup or residue of SPF lingering. When I used my moisturizer, I noticed a completely different feel - it actually melted into my skin, not just sitting on top.

Ojon Hydrating Styling Cream. 4 Star Premier Hair Care.

What frizz?  Just a small amount calms my Texas sized hair! I rub it between my fingers to break the microspheres and apply it to the bottom 2/3, where I have most of my frizzy issues. My hair is never greasy, I hardly feel product, just healthy shiny hair.   I purchased the 2oz size from Sephora. Since I wash my hair twice a week and use such a small amount of product, it was easier on the wallet and I could justify the $12 cost. The full size (3.8oz) is $30.  Under my Premier Hair Care Products, I rate this 4 out of 5 stars.
