Why Add a Facial Makeup Remover.

Lately I've been hearing women talk of using more and more cleanser yet they still see makeup residue on their cotton round after applying toner.  Like most, you probably use a makeup remover made specifically for your eyes but have you considered adding a facial makeup remover to your regime?  A facial makeup remover is different than a cleanser; one is designed to break down cosmetic product and the other is designed to clean the skin.  Tools like the Clarisonic can do both.

Clinique Loose Powder Application

 
I worked for Clinique for a long time in my early 20's and we were taught this trick to get the most flawless application of loose powder:  to 'wash' our face with the loose powder.  So you apply your liquid foundation then (lean over the sink) pour some loose powder in your hand and act like your gently washing your face.  You don't want to rub, per say, just blend but it helps the foundation and powder become one.  Then you use the brush to dust off the excess. 

Cover Girl NatureLuxe Gloss Balm

I was actually surprised how similar this balm is, to Clinique's Almost Lipstick.  I'm in a corals and pinks phase and have been since orange lips became all the rage, so I chose #215 Hibiscus.  Don't let the brightness of this pink scare you, it goes on quite sheer. It is very lightweight and comfortable, the colour is slightly buildable. It lasts longer then most balms and does not work it's way off of my lips.  Also the colour stays true all day, this has never lightened nor stained my mouth pink.

Sweet like Honey

I have been wearing Clinique's Black Honey Almost Lipstick on and off for about 15 years. It is a great go to - not too sheer not too moderate - just a great shiny tinted hybrid!

Black Honey is in the berry family. It looks intimidating in the tube but once it is on, you too, will fall in love. This is one of those shades for everyone. It never gets sticky, it will not run off, It has staying power not staining power! I find it super smoothing and since I tend to wear more eye makeup during the holidays, this is a nice way to pull my look together without looking hard or overdone. The vessel is a thin long tube with a traditional swivel base, easy to carry and the cap stays tight.

I highly recommend this product to everyone.
