Superfine Liner for Brows

I had my brows tattooed on October 2010, so you would think that I don't really have a need for brow pencil but when I go out at night, they look slightly undone without a tiny amount of 'cosmetic shading'.

What I like about this Clinique pencil is, that it is truly the first pencil that I have used that allows you to create real looking hairs instead of simply shading in the entire area. I like the thin mechanical pencil, it is about 1/2 the thickness of traditional eye/lip liner pencils. With Clinique's Brow Shaper, my oily skin always transferred greasy back to the powder cake and I ended up with these solidified veins of oil-soaked powder that became unusable. Not an issue with this super fine applicator. The product doesn't dry out inside the vessel plus it lasts all day - even on my oily skin.

I wish you could see how much product is remaining. That's my only real complaint. At $13 this is an absolute rebuy!

I have been hanging on to a Macy's gift card since Christmas 2010.  It's not that I wasn't in a hurry to spend it, it's that I couldn't find anything I liked (mainly sale shoes) for the same price as the value, or close to, my gift card. 

Anyhoo...I was strolling through the cosmetic department at Macy's Valley Fair and decided to look for something new.  Something that I would normally never buy but that I wanted to treat myself to.  I thought I should try a new-to-me brand's colour..... Maybe I will get lucky and find a set for $40 or $50.....  OMG SHINY!!!!

September Birchbox 40/60

I know we're half way through October but my September box only arrived on 9.28.  They weren't in a hurry to get it to me and I'm not in a hurry to talk about how craptastic I think it was.  Again.  Out of 5 items, I like 2. The mascara and the nail art.  I'm grateful that the nail art is full size and covers the cost of the box.

Worlds Best for Free

I have been keeping my eye out for this kitty litter, Worlds Best is made from milled renewable whole kernel corn. It does not contain silica which is potentially harmful to you, your children and your pets.  They claim this cat litter naturally traps ammonia odor, so I shouldn't experience urine smell in my office, where the litter box resides.  It also clumps on contact, making cleanup easy and this product will last 2 - 3 times longer than a traditional bag of liter. Did I mention it is 100% biodegradable and disburses in water.  Hello Eco-friendly pet solutions!
