30 Day Challenge ~ #11

#11 Your family.
Is all-American dysfunction at it's finest.  Some things I would change, some things I wouldn't. Fight to the death for any one of them? You bet. Immediately, there's Mom, an older brother and an ever older sister. I have been dating the person I call my husband for 5 years - we're not actually married.  Moving forward I shall call it what it is, he is my boyfriend.  I've always considered myself sort of a gypsy loner.  I never felt settled where I lived and I had to deal with a lot fighting between my parents.   Being so much younger than my siblings made bonding nearly impossible so I grew up feeling like an only child.  I experience the opposite end of that spectrum when my mom and aunties get together - it's just one cursing screaming cat fight after another.  No thanks.  It's true, I cringe every time a holiday comes around.  Why can't I just spend Christmas on the beach with my boyfriend and our cat?

30 Day Challenge ~ #10

#10 Put your music player on shuffle and write the first 10 songs that play.
My Doorbell - The White Stripes
I Told You So - Keith Urban (<-- free from iTunes/Starbucks)
Way Down - Tori Amos
Mmm Papi - Britney Spears
Hava Nagila {Original Film Score, SNATCH} - John Murphy Very 'Greek'
Missing - Everything But The Girl
So Damn Lucky - Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds
The Walk - Imogen Heap
Who's laughing Now - Jessie J
Stars and Midnight Blue - Enya

Who's Laughing Now is the only one of these songs that I have listened to in the past year.  I listen to a lot of hiphop and rap and not one Lil' Wayne popped up!

30 Day Challenge ~ #9

#9 How important you think education is.
It's not that I believe primary education is key, skip the secondary,  I believe that you must establish basic fundamentals as a youth or you will struggle your entire adulthood, whether you go on to college or not.  There is too much of a political snowball to start rolling on a beauty blog but the foundation of our educational system was crumbling when I crossed the stage in 1993.  Classroom capacities have quadrupled yet we are still relying on 1 teacher - how many student can they actually impact?

Perception

Perception = Reality
Expectation = Belief

Interesting what visions you can created when you set an expectation from perceived wording.

I try to keep an open mind but when I awoke to an email titled 'Va Va Voom' I was expecting to see a picture of a shapely goddess with the likes of Christina Hendricks, although I'm not sure why, knowing who pushed the email.  Still, I was caught off guard when I discovered Anthropologie tricks'd me to the vision a waif in white.

The Sweetest Event

When I opened the email, all I saw were the words FREE GIFT and the cutest shopping bag ever.  A total hippie, I BYOB into ever store that I shop, I even keep one in my purse.  You never know.  So I marked my calender for Saturday November 17th 11am.  I wanted to make sure I got one of those adorable bags!!

All about eyes serum

This product is best used when layered on top of All About Eyes Cream. During the Summer, I keep it in the fridge, it's ultra soothing.

Keep it on your orbital bone, it seems like you will have a lot of product but it will dry down quickly. I didn't see immediate results at first but after continued use my skin was smoother and brighter. The ball roller will distribute product evenly, do it kind of slow, or you will end up with one eye that has more serum then the other.  I have never felt tightness or residue on my skin after I use this serum and it does not interfere with my makeup application

I will buy this again, I love it!  5 out of 5 stars
